The Red Deer wilife photography days courses are run on a one to one or one to two people basis for maximum attention for clients and minimum disturbance to the wildlife.

 

General Wildlife and Landscapes :   £225 for one person £350 for two (booked at the same time) - 

General wildlife / landscape courses can be arranged from at a conveinent time to suit you and your friends or family. Red deer photography can also be included in these days but as always with wildlife can  be unpredictable and the deer may not be easily accessible. Bird life can be good on Exmoor during the winter with species such as Short Eared Owl Hen Harrier, Buzzard, Kestrel, Merlin, Barn Owl spotted during the day. Winter migrants include murmurations of Starlings, golden plover, redwing and lapwing.

Summer highlights include cuckoo, Exmoor ponies and goals, red deer calfs, red kites and summer visitors such as pied flycatchers and nightjars.

Snakes !

During March and April I will be running some special Reptile days were we try and find and photograph one of my favourite species of snake - the Adder ! Learn about habitat, behaviour and identification as part of the day and why we must help protect them and educate others about their important position in keeping our eco-system healthy. Common lizards and slow worms are also possible to see if we are lucky.

About the Photography days / workshops

My workshop courses are not a "get you a photo of an animal ,at all costs" kind of  day like some, but an introduction to becoming a better wildlife photographer. This includes key camera settings, field craft and most  importantly, ethics. Hopefully this will not only enhance your photography skills but also  enhance your experiences photographing  wildlife for years to come.

Costs are £225 for a one to one day . If 2 people book together at the same time, for the same day there would be a £100 discount, i.e £350 for 2 people. 

A 20% deposit via PayPal(credit/debit card) or the full amount is required to secure the date requested with the balance payable on the day via cheque or cash (card payment is also available on request)
